The Department of Computer Science revived another year of promising successful tech fest, “Techrenegade ’16 - “Innovate Lead Achieve” on 23rd and 24th January, 2016.

Techrenegade ’16 portrayed creativity, technology, sportsmanship, dedication and innovation, with the theme “Digital Campus, Smart Future” in which 21 colleges from all over Mumbai participated. The students launched an official website: www.techrenegade16.in

The highlights of “Techrenegade’16” were the Flash Mob and display of Contraption, Inauguration Ceremony, where the Key Note Address was given by Mr. Vijay Mukhi, Chief Guest, President of a body called Foundation of Information Security and Technology, FIST on “Bluetooth & Health Awareness”. There was also a talk by the Guest of Honour Mr. Rizwan Shaikh, one of India’s renowned Ethical Hackers and the founder of Pristine Solutions, on “Ethical Hacking”.

The fest organized a workshop on “Robotics” and seminar on “Internet of Things –IOT”, by Mr. Naman Singh, along with main events such as ‘Robowar’ and ‘Project Evaluation’ for which an expert from the IT industry, Mr. Jitesh Suvarna, evaluated the projects.
