Ph.D. Admission Interviews

Ph.D. admission Interviews being held on 3rd and 4th September 2024 at K.C College for those who have qualified in HPET and those NET/SET qualified candidates who have registered at the HSNCU portal.

Candidates who have qualified in HPET and those who are NET/SET qualified and have registered at the HSNCU portal in the subjects of Sociology, English, Economics, Information Technology & Computer Science, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Microbiology and Biotechnology are invited to attend the PhD. admission interview being scheduled on 3rd and 4th September 2024 at K.C. College, Churchgate, according to the following schedule:

Date and Time:

September 3rd, 2024 for Sociology, English, Economics, IT & CS.

Reporting Time: 2:00 PM

4th September 2024, for Chemistry, Life Sciences, Microbiology & Biotechnology

Reporting time : 12:30 pm

Venue :
Conference Room, First Floor, K.C. College

Required Documents:

1) Original and a photocopy of certificates of all relevant educational qualifications (10th, 12th, BA/BSc, MA/MSc, MPhil, NET/SET/PET, Aadhaar card).

2) A short research proposal (1000-1500 words) outlining your research aim, objectives, and proposed methodologies.
Please ensure it is free of plagiarism.

3) Prepare a presentation on your research proposal.

Important Instructions :
●Your interview is subject to final verification of all original documents during the admission process.

●If any information submitted is erroneous and doesn’t match the original documents, admission may be canceled.

●Applicants currently employed should submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer.

●M.Phil. degree holders in their subject are exempt from the six-month coursework requirement. All others need to complete the 6 month coursework, which will be held in the hybrid mode.

●Candidates from other faculties need to qualify in the aptitude test/faculty change exam conducted by the Department before the interview.
