Certificate Programme in Commerce & Arts
Certificate Programme for Commerce & Arts (CPCA) conducted its Autumn School module from 14th to 19th October 2019 for its Batch VI. A number of workshops on Research Methodology were conducted by noted resource persons like Dr Sunita Shailajan, Dr Leena Pujari and Dr Anagha Tendulkar. Several workshops were also conducted on Advanced Communication Skills and they comprised of inculcating information on Grooming, Etiquette & Attire as well as Effective Interaction. Other workshops were held on Gender Sensitisation, Goal Setting and Nation – Its Origin, Nature & Nationality. Students also gained knowledge in workshops on Cyber Security and hands-on workshop on Word Press. Students visited the Godrej Mangrove park at Vikhroli on a field trip to increase their knowledge about sustainable mangroves that are essential to protect the landline of the city of Mumbai from flooding.
The CPCA Batch V students presented their research papers on 31st July and 1st August 2019 in front of external judges. A total number of 24 research papers were presented. The Valedictory was held on 13th August 2019 in a ceremony that also saw a large participation by the parents of the participants and award winners.
