Event Name: Responsive Web Design
Date: 31st May, 2021

Outcome: Students learnt about the fundamental languages and markups for front-end web programming and were introduced conceptually to some of the more complex web topics including Responsive Web Design and Server Technology. The session also demonstrated how to design, program and publish a working and atheistic website.

Outcome: The session enabled the Basic understanding of microprocessors and microcontrollers architectures and its functionalities. The students learnt how to design and develop Microprocessor/microcontroller based systems for real time applications using low level languages.

Outcome: The session demonstrated the various tags of HTML 5 useful for designing web applications. The students also learnt the image, audio and video tags in Html to design dynamic websites.
Event Name: Data Analytics with Python

Outcome: The participant learnt to visualize and explore data to understand relationships among variables and to organize the predictive modeling task and data flow. The students were also taught to design ML models using KNN. Also an overview of Panda was given in the session which can be used for data analysis.

Outcome: The students learnt to Measure and evaluate the performance of basic control systems in time domain. They also learnt how to use Actuators with Micro Controllers.

Outcome: The students were able to understand the analysis of different types of spatial data within a GIS, produce maps of cartographic quality with appropriate symbology for a range of applications. They were also demonstrated the principles of map designing.
Event Name: Use of Latex scripting for Documentation

Resource Person: Ms. Aafreen Shaikh Guest Lecturer.
Outcome: The students were made aware of the various special formatting commands, including those for mathematics, text formatting, and tables. They were also demonstrated to install packages to extend LaTeX's functionality, find documentation for those packages, and discover new packages.
Event Name: Comprehending IPR
Date: 13th January 2021
Resource Person: Mr. Kishor Kadbe Assistant controller of patents and Designs at Patent Office. Govt. of India.
Outcome: The participants were explained what is acceptable under IP is and what constitutes an offense. The session also covered the differentiation between the different forms of intellectual property rights (IPR). In order the cover the context authentic case studies were also discussed.

Outcome: The participants understood a wide variety of learning algorithms and how to evaluate models generated from data. They also learnt to apply the algorithms to a real problem, optimize the models learned and report on the expected accuracy that can be achieved by applying the models

Outcome: The students were made aware of the various cutting edge automation technologies in the industry. It was an interactive session with different genre of case studies were discussed with the students.
Event Name: Interaction with Database: SQL Server with Visual Studio

Outcome: The participants were taught to connect to the SQL Server database in Visual Studio start a new project. Various SQL Server Data Tools were also discussed to enable database connectivity with Visual Studio.

Outcome: The session enabled us to increase awareness about the do’s and don’t and the best practices for ensuring cyber hygiene. It educated the participants about knowledge sharing among the scientific community for better networking and synergy.

Outcome: The students learnt about designing, creating and deploying an IoT device using Arduino and Rasberry platforms. The students learnt IoT in a hands-on manner and enjoyed the overall experience.

Outcome: The students were made to understand Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and the Criteria for Scoping & Prioritization of RPA Opportunities. Also the risk of RPA were discussed.

Outcome: The students understood the scope, stages, applications, effects and challenges of ML. also they learnt the mathematical relationships within and across ML algorithms and the paradigms of supervised and unsupervised learning.

Outcome: The students were given insights for writing a good research paper and also were made familiar with the publishing particulars.

Outcome: In this four days events the participants attended sessions on Multiplatform WebApp, Data Analysis using Python. They also attended a session on IT Perspective on global crisis. These sessions were quite beneficial to the students.

Event Name: Blood Donation Camp

Outcome: Blood Donation Camp was organized on 31 st January under the supervision of Jaslok Hospital. There was an overwhelming response from students and other donors. Some of the donors who could not donate this time were assured for donation in the next camp. A certificate of appreciation and refreshment was given to each donor as a token of gratitude

Outcome: Intra- Department Cricket Tournament was organized between seniors and juniors. The match was played at oval ground. Matches between seniors and juniors were very thrilling and very exciting to watch. The seniors won the match and the cricket match was worth watching.
