The Dept of Mass Media offers the following courses: Undergraduate course: BMM – Bachelor of Mass Media started in the year 2000 and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
The course is conducted at KC College, Colaba Campus.
- A three-year integrated degree course
- Offers specialization in Advertising or Journalism in its final year.
- Trains the students to face the challenges of the media.
- An intensive course with seminars, workshops, guest lectures and field trips integrated in the curriculum.
- The college has a compulsory four week summer internship for the students of SYBMM post their semester IV examinations.
- The India Today Magazine has ranked the Department of Mass Media among the Top ten colleges for Mass Communication In India for three consecutive years.
Eligibility Criteria for BMM: Post XII standard from any course- SSC, ICSE, CBSE, IGCSE, IB. As per Mumbai University Norms students admitted purely on Merit.
